Booking and Travel Conditions – General Information
• Prices are in Australian Currency, and supersede
all previously advertised prices
• Circumstances may require us to alter itineraries
and fares without notice. Fares will be confirmed
when payment is received. TassieLink Coaches/TigerLine
Travel Tasmania strongly recommends the purchase of
travel insurance.
• Check in is required at least ten minutes
prior to departure time
• Child refers to 4 -16 years inclusive. Children
under four years not occupying a seat are free of
charge
• All major credit cards are accepted, but use
may involve a surcharge
• TassieLink Coaches/TigerLine Travel Tasmania
includes other operators’ projects in their
product offering in good faith. TassieLink/TigerLine
Travel Tasmania cannot be held responsible for the
conduct of these operators or for loss or damage to
property, personal injury, death or delay incurred
on or by activities conducted by other operators

one airline acceptable suitcase, and one soft carry
on travel bag or camera bag. Size/weight limitations

Travel Tasmania accept no responsibility for any inaccuracy
or misdescription arising from these images.
• Camping stove fuel must either be solid, or
in a suitable container (e.g. container as sold),
and be of less than 1 litre per person. It must be
carried in checked luggage.
Cancellation Policies
Booked Service Seats, Explorer Pass, and Walking Track package fares
• 10% cancellation fee on all bookings
• Failure to Board: NO refund
• No refund will be given on any unused portion
of packaged fares
• Package Fares are transferable but NOT refundable

• Cancellation by us: Full Refund
Exclusions of Liability
Cancellation or Deviation of Service
TassieLink shall not be liable for any loss or damage
which may arise in the event of the cancellation of
a service or the abandonment of a service during the
course thereof or any deviation in any service arising
from any cause whatsoever. Tassielink shall not be liable
for any costs of accommodation, transport or other additional
services incurred or sustained by the passenger or any
alternative means of travel which may arise and/or any
additional expenses so arising which shall be the liability
of the passenger.
Tassielink will not, in any circumstances (except as
provided by applicable law) be liable for any accident,
injury or death of any passenger or loss or damage to
personal effects, baggage and/or freight whether or
not arising from negligence, tort, breach of contract
or default of Tassielink.
Charter Services
Cancellation Fees
Cancellation fees may apply to any charter cancelled
before the date. TassieLink Coaches reserves the right
to alter cancellation fees depending on the circumstances
surrounding the cancellation.
• Charter cancelled 14 Days or More prior:
10%
• Charter cancelled between 3 to 13 Days prior:
50%
• Charter cancelled at less than 3 Days prior:
100%
Coach Charter Terms and Conditions
To ensure a safe and enjoyable charter, please ensure
you adhere to the following terms and conditions.
1. The driver is ultimately in total control of the
charter and will communicate with the tour leader
regarding alterations or requests from the group.
In the case of groups, faxed confirmation will be
required before major changes to itineraries are implemented
2. Your driver has been trained to manage emergency
situations. In the case of an emergency, please follow
the driver’s instructions.
3. Tasmanian law prohibits drivers to be driving
more than 12 hours per day. Every 5 hours driving
must be followed by at least a 30 minute break away
from the vehicle.
4. Circumstances may arise where TassieLink Coaches
will be required to alter the standard of the requested
coach, and TassieLink Coaches reserve the right to
do so without notice.
5. Equipment furnished by TassieLink Coaches is thoroughly
inspected before being assigned to the charter to
ensure uninterrupted service. If the planned timings
of the charter are disrupted for any reason beyond
the
control of TassieLink Coaches (e.g. mechanical failure,
road or weather conditions, etc), TassieLink Coaches
will not be held responsible for any losses. TassieLink
Coaches reserve the right to replace a vehicle with
mechanical problems with a different type of vehicle
or engage a sub-contractor to complete the charter.
6. Please be aware that if the charter exceeds the
parameters of your quote, an additional charge of
$100.00 per hour or part thereof will be charged.
7. Payment needs to be made before the start date
of the charter (unless credit has been arranged, please
see our Credit Account Application Form). Trading
terms are 14 days from the date of the issued invoice.
Payments can be made via cheque, EFT or credit card
(which incurs a 2% surcharge).
8. The cost of repairing damage to buses resulting
from the conduct and actions of passengers on the
charter shall be charged to the chartering party and
is payable as soon as such cost is determined.
9. The driver reserves the right to refuse to transport
persons under the influence of intoxicating liquor
or drugs, or who are, or are likely to become, objectionable
to other persons.
10. If there is unsociable or unruly behaviour on
or off the vehicle at any time, the driver has the
right to terminate the charter immediately and, if
necessary, call the police.
11. Alcohol is not permitted on the coach at any
time.
12. State and Federal Law do not permit smoking on
any TassieLink vehicle.
13. Please ensure passengers remain seated throughout
the journey.
14. Passengers must not interfere with the driver
whilst driving or tamper with any apparatus or appliance
on the bus.
15. Garbage bins are provided for your convenience.
Please use them as a cleaning fee of $200.00 may be
charged if the bus returns in an unreasonable state.
