Using Buses  
The Australian Government has advised that restrictions on gatherings do not extend to public transport. However,passengers should practice physical distancing where reasonably practical. Bus drivers are not responsible for enforcing physical distancing measures on buses. Anyone feeling unwell should avoid using public transport.
Travel outside peak periods where possible.
While waiting at bus stops, practice social distancing .
Adults seeking to board a bus which has a high number of passengers are asked to consider waiting for the next service where available. This request does not apply to children.
Practice good hand hygiene.
If possible use hand sanitiser before and after catching the bus.
Spread out on board as much as you can.
Members of the same household and family groups can sit together.
Avoid touching surfaces inside the bus whenever you can.Please comply with any requests from your bus driver.

A reminder - tomorrow Thursday 22 October 2020 is Hobart Show day public holiday in the South of the state. Public holiday timetable applies. West Coast and Launceston are normal timetable services.

Tassielink wishes to advise that Route 737 Bicheno - Hobart has been delayed 3 hours. Revised departure time from Bicheno is now 11:45. Route 736 & 737 Departing from Hobart will be as scheduled.

Due to road closures Route 736 Swansea to Hobart service has been cancelled for Wednesday 5th August. Tassielink Transit apologies for any inconvenience.
716 is just coming past Pelverata Road in Huonville soon. Sorry for the delay.
Route 718 Hobart to Dover is travelling via the Channel Highway . This service will be due in Huonville approximately at 6.30pm .It will only travel as far as Geeveston Routes 736 and 737 are terminated at Sorell . We are attempting to get Route 716 departing Hobart at 6.40pm to travel via the Channel Highway to Cygnet , then Huonville and onto Geeveston .
Please be advised that our Huon Valley , Swansea and Bicheno services are all stationary at the moment . Further updates to come .
Tassielink wish to advise our passengers traveling from Queenstown to Derwent bridge that this service has been cancelled due to extreme weather conditions and road closures. Tassielink apologises for any inconvenience.

Tasman Highway, Hobart Airport Bus Stop Removal Tassielink bus services will no longer be able to stop on the Tasman Highway near the Hobart Airport roundabout The construction of the Hobart Airport interchange has commenced which means that the bus stops on the Tasman Highway near the roundabout have had to be removed and will not be replaced on the highway once construction is complete due to safety reasons. This will affect the Swansea, Bicheno and Tasman Peninsula passengers. Passengers using these bus stops will have to make alternative arrangements to travel to and from the Hobart Airport either at Sorell, Rosny or Hobart. For more information on timetables and information on the construction of Hobart Airport interchange please visit www.transport.tas.gov.au.

Please note the attached change to the closure of bus stop A1 in Launceston Stops A1 and A2 St John Street temporary relocation 14 -20 July Due to roadworks, stops A1 and A2 in St John Street will be closed from Tuesday 14 July until Monday 20 July. Temporary stops will be serviced at the following locations: Temporary stop A1 – 3 car parks at the rear of the Tiger Bus Stop (30m bus zone)
