Tassielink services maybe impacted today due to forecasted weather conditions The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a weather warning for very heavy rainfall and damaging winds across parts of the east and south of Tasmania from Thursday night until later Saturday. Current flood watches/warnings have been issued for the South East, Huon, Derwent, North and North East catchments. Damaging south to southeasterly winds and damaging surf are also possible across parts of the south and east, mainly about the coasts. ANZAC Day Monday 25th April 2022 Tassielink will be operating to Public Holiday timetables for all services across our network. Road closures and detours will be in place to allow for ANZAC Day services and marches from 5.00am until approximately 12.00 noon. Disruptions to Launceston Network Departing Launceston:- Route 792 departing Launceston at 9.30am from Stop A1 Route 794 departing Launceston at 11.05am from Stop A1 792 & 794 will travel along St John St, right onto Frederick St, left Charles St, then normal route. The bus stops on Elizabeth Street at Princes Square will not be serviced. All others stops remain the same. Arriving Launceston:- Route 792 arriving into Launceston at 11.00am will not be able to access stop C1 on York Street. Passengers will be dropped off at stop B1 located on St Johns Street Disruptions to Hobart Network Several streets including Macquarie St from Barrack St to the Cenotaph will be closed until approx. 12pm. Departing Hobart:- The 718 Hobart to Dover will be departing from Liverpool St and Elizabeth St mall, Bus stop L1 at 11:15am, will travel along Liverpool St, left onto Barrack St, right Davey St then normal route. Arriving Hobart:- 726 Campania & 737 Bicheno inbound services final stop will be at Liverpool St and Campbell St, opposite the RHH. The 12:15pm 726 Campania will depart at Bus stop D4 (Town hall) as normal. The 714 Cygnet to Hobart will be diverted down Collins St via Molle St, the final stop being at Collins St and Murray St. Bus Stop Closures until 12:00pm:- Franklin Square Bus stop D1 – Macquarie St Davey St Bus stop 3 at Salamanca Place Davey St Bus stop 4 at Sandy Bay Rd. Zeehan Highway Works 11th -14th April 2022 Possible delays to Route 747 West Coast to Burnie Tassielink have been advised there will be works on repairing the landslip on the Zeehan Highway near Queenstown commencing on Monday 11th April 2022 and will be completed by Thursday 14th April 2022. (Weather Permitting) There maybe slight delays which will be no longer that 15 minutes.
