Travel on public transport is exempt from restrictions on gatherings, so there can be more than 10 people using a form of public transport. Passengers are encouraged to keep physically distancing in mind and choose a seat away from others where possible.

You have a responsibility to keep yourself, your bus driver and other passengers safe. 

Using Buses
Anyone feeling unwell should avoid using public transport.
Travel outside peak periods where possible.
While waiting at bus stops, practice social distancing .
Adults seeking to board a bus which has a high number of passengers are asked to consider waiting for the next service where available. This request does not apply to children.
Practice good hand hygiene.
If possible use hand sanitiser before and after catching the bus.
Spread out on board as much as you can.
Members of the same household and family groups can sit together.
Avoid touching surfaces inside the bus whenever you can.Please comply with any requests from your bus driver.

This service DOES NOT go via Kingston – Monitoring has shown low patronage resulting in the service ceasing after today Friday 12th June 2020 The morning service travelling from Huonville to Hobart College will remain in place and will continue to be monitored . School bus arrangements for Term 2 School bus services to Government, Catholic and Independent schools are operating where the school is open to students. The continued operation of school bus services is being regularly reviewed based on Public Health advice and updates. The number of students using school buses will increase from 25 May as primary school and colleges resume on site learning. The Department of State Growth will monitor school bus demand and consider whether any changes to bus services are needed.

Bus stop changes West Coast to Burnie From 19 April 2020, West Coast to Burnie service will no longer stop at Cattley St. Tassielink will no longer stop at Cattley Street from 19 April 2020. Tassielink wishes to advise that full timetables are running as normal until April 9th. From April 10 the school holiday timetable will come into effect except of Public Holidays. Tassielink would like to advise that due to unforeseen circumstances , Route 794 due to depart Launceston at 11.05am has experienced a significant delay . We apologise for the inconvenience .
ROUTE CHANGES TO BUS TRAVEL AT DRUMMOND CRESCENT PERTH Due to road changes, all Tassielink services will not be able to stop at Drummond Crescent. This may affect your current travel arrangements. As part of the Perth Links Road project, all traffic to and from Perth will need to travel along the new highway which links the Southern roundabout with Illawara Rd. The Perth end of Illawarra Rd will be developed into a cul-de-sac. Currently Westbound Tassielink services to Cressy/Longford are not stopping on Drummond Crescent. From 31 March 2020 all Eastbound Tassielink services will no longer be stopping on Drummond Crescent. Drummond Crescent passengers will need to use the bus stops at: • Perth central, Main Rd (near the Fire Station). • Scone St (opposite Perth Memorial Reserve). As a part of the Greencard network TassieLink Transit will have a fare amnesty until 10th April 2020. This will enable customers to source a Greencard for safer contactless payment.
