The Australian Government has advised that restrictions on gatherings do not extend to public transport. However,passengers should practice physical distancing where reasonably practical. Bus drivers are not responsible for enforcing physical distancing measures on buses. Anyone feeling unwell should avoid using public transport.
Travel outside peak periods where possible.
While waiting at bus stops, practice social distancing .
Adults seeking to board a bus which has a high number of passengers are asked to consider waiting for the next service where available. This request does not apply to children.
Practice good hand hygiene.
If possible use hand sanitiser before and after catching the bus.
Spread out on board as much as you can.
Members of the same household and family groups can sit together.
Avoid touching surfaces inside the bus whenever you can.Please comply with any requests from your bus driver.

Tassielink wishes to advise due to Anzac Day events on Sunday 25th April, there will be service disruptions in the Hobart CBD and there will be deviations and temporary stop closures. Several streets including Macquarie St from Barrack St to the Cenotaph will be closed from Mid-morning until approx. 12pm. Outbound Services:- The 718 Hobart to Dover will be departing from Liverpool St and Elizabeth St mall, Bus stop L1 at 11:15am. Inbound Services:- Campania inbound service final stop will be at Liverpool St and the Elizabeth St mall, Bus stop L1. The 12:15pm 726 Campania will depart at Town hall as normal. The 714 Cygnet to Hobart will be diverted down Collins St via Molle St, the final stop being at Collins St and Murray St. Bus Stop Closures until 12:00pm:- Franklin Square Bus stop D1 – Macquarie St Davey St Bus stop 3 at Salamanca Place Davey St Bus stop 4 at Sandy Bay Rd. Important Information for West Coast Passengers, Travel between Strahan and Queenstown affected by TARGA road closures – 21 and 23 April Tassielink route 748 Strahan – Queenstown services will be affected by TARGA road closures on Wednesday 21 and Friday 23 April 2021. On Wednesday 21 April The Lyell Highway will be closed from 12.37pm until 5.07pm. The service scheduled to depart Strahan at 4.15pm will not operate. The service scheduled to depart Strahan at 6.45pm will still operate. The service scheduled to depart Queenstown at 2.45pm will travel to Strahan via Zeehan. This detour means the bus will arrive in Strahan at approximately 4.45pm. On Friday 23 April The Lyell Highway will be closed from 6.11am to 10.41am. The service scheduled to depart Queenstown at 6.30am will not operate. The service scheduled to depart Strahan at 7.30am will travel to Queenstown via Zeehan. This detour means the bus will arrive in Queenstown at approximately 9.00am, and Mountain Heights school at 9.15am. If travelling from Strahan to Burnie, passengers will need to transfer to the 747 in Zeehan at 9.00am rather than Queenstown.
