What is the ticket cancellation / refund policy?

A 10% cancellation fee applies on all bookings.

No refund is given for:

Failure to board.
unused portions of packaged fares.
bookings cancelled within 24 hours of travel date.

I am travelling with my infant; do I have to pay for their travel?

Children four (4) years of age and under can travel free of charge provided they are not occupying a seat.

Do you have hotel pickups and drop offs?

Hotel pickups and drop offs are not available.

Have you thought of chartering a coach?

When you have a number of people in your group, it can be cost effective to charter a vehicle with us. Please see our Charters pages for more information.

Do I need a Greencard to travel on Tassielink Transit

No - we do accept Greencards which provides a discount but our drivers also accept cash payment (correct fare amount is always appreciated)

Do I have to make a booking on route services?

It is recommended to make a booking on the following services

Hobart to the East Coast
Other services provided by Tassielink Transit do not require a booking

Can I store my luggage?

Facilities are available in our Launceston Terminal to store luggage. A storage fee applies.

Can I bring my pet?

Customers are advised to call 1300 300 520 to enquire about transporting pets. No enquiries are required for seeing or hearing guide dogs or Police dogs.
